Three Hours Later

"You've been trying to get that necklace off for three hours now, you really don't like it do you?" She said, watching the unicorn give up at tugging the necklace before lying down in defeat.

"What was your first clue"

Shy Sprout shuffled a bit and paused in thought before speaking "When you tried to pull it off for three hours"

He sneered, unamused at the jest "... tell me, why am I here"

"Celestia gave me an important mission, I have to make you good." she stated, a bit matter of factly, as though it should have been common knowledge to the former king.

"Ha, she really thinks that a deformed pegasus can reform the likes of me? I'm from a powerful race of beings-"

"The Umbra, Celestia told me."

"Don't interrupt me child. As I was saying, It is foolish to think I can be, whats the word, ah yes tamed." He sneered, clearly amused at the thought of what was going on.

She stared at him blankly, almost annoyingly "Well I can try anyways I guess... besides if you don't get better you have to keep the necklace on"

"And what is that suppose to mean?" He growled, lifting his head up to meet her eye.

"Celestia told me if you get better I'm allowed to take it off"

"You mean you watched me struggle this whole time and you could have removed this accursed thing?" he yelled at her, making her flinch and shy away "Release me NOW!"

"No." She said, her voice shaking.

"Then you will pay for defying me" He growled as his horn glowed, dark magic bubbling before fizzling out as the gem on the necklace glowed

"I-i'm going out, do you want me to get you anything."

Glaring at her he relented "I would like the crystal empire served to me on a silver platter"

"I'll get you a hayburger"

He growled again, nearly standing up as she scurried out of the room yelling back before closing the door "Two hayburgers then"
